Day 3: The Culture Experience

It's our last day in Tokyo, and we are determined to make this a jam packed day. Our itinerary for today is to visit the Tokyo Skytree, then Asakusa, and end with dinner at a special restaurant.

The Tokyo Skytree is the world's tallest tower we're going to the highest observation deck, the Tembo Gallery.

View from Tembo Gallery
Standing at a dizzying 451.2 m made me realize why this is the world's highest skywalk. I could see for miles, the buildings were like multicoloured blocks across a flat expanse of land. I could even see the route that we needed to take in order to reach Asakusa Station.

Onto our next destination, Asakusa! The point of interest? Nakamise Street and Sensoji Temple. Strolling down Nakamise Street, we saw several shops selling local snacks and we couldn't resist trying some. Reaching the end of the street, we see Sensoji Temple, Tokyo's oldest temple.

Along with the smell of incense, there were many people chanting and praying. We spent a long time at Asakusa so for dinner, we go to special restaurant I talked about earlier.

The special thing about this restaurant is that it's ninja themed. The interior is like a maze and the staff are all wearing ninja uniforms. It was almost like being inside a ninja movie and you're the main character. We ordered the Tasting Course, and for dessert, they had the cutest dessert I've ever seen.

Tokyo is definitely one of the most unique and fun places that you could ever visit.
