At
the break of dawn, we set out towards Mt. Fuji. We started off at Shinjuku
Station, and took the train towards Otsuki Station, and then we transfer to a
train heading towards Kawaguchiko Station. We could see that the train was
leaving the city and entering the countryside; the trees grew taller and the
land became greener. At Kawaguchiko 5th Station, we took the time to take some
pictures and admire the natural scenery around us. The air was crisp and clean,
and it was pleasantly quiet. Mt Fuji towered before us; it was a spectacular landmark. We then boarded a bus that would take us to Fuji Q Highland,
a theme park with some of the world`s most extreme roller coasters.

To have a theme park built in such a scenic location is hard to come by. But before I have the best theme park experience ever, we had to eat. We enter a restaurant and order Hoto noodles, a local specialty. The sweet smelling broth combined with the hearty noodles was divine, simply a match made in heaven. After a satisfying lunch, we head towards the world’s steepest roller coaster, Takabisha.

I had high expectations and I wasn't disappointed. The ride was exhilarating, every twist and turn made my bones shake. My legs were still shaking after the ride, but that didn't stop me from trying other roller coasters. I highly recommend visiting Mt. Fuji, the view is picturesque and there are many fun things to do.
